"The Non-verbal Work Environment".

 I was a Supervisor and if they needed some help I could give. There were specific rules and I
 could give instructions
 I had to listen and understand where the problem was.
 The team had Leggo blocks and every team had to build something. They did not have
 instructions in front of them so they did not what they were building. The team leader could
 ask me questions and I would answer the question.
  We switched around and did another nonverbal games and this time someone else was giving
   directions and I had to follow directions to build something they were telling me.
   I learned a lot about myself through this process. When instructions are given it is very
   important to listen to make sure I understand  and also to be descriptive, and specific
   so my class mates and myself learn how to interact with each other.
   We are part of a team and to understand the  process of non-verbal work environment
    and it is just as important as the verbal communication.
    It was role playing but I learned cooperation, showed me areas where I need to improve in.
    I had fun and I learned.

    E-commerce has a global reach that allows commercial transcations across cross-cultural

    and national boundaries, and it is personalized to specific individuals.

   

    Marketing cross-selling and the three major areas are Sales, Marketing, and Service.

    The goal is to increase customer loyalty through Customer Service.

 

    The Customer data is an evaluation of Service.

     Channel can be e-mail, direct mail, telephone, the web, wireless message,

    

     Operational CRM

           Tools for the Sales force such as automation, call center, customer service support, marketing

            automation.

 

       Analytical CRM

             Applications that analyze customer data.

             Provide information for improving business performance.

      

        Social Technology create and share with personal friends, selling directly to the consumer,

         and text, video, music, and photos.

         

         Wisdom of the crowds 

          Created site where millions of people can interact with business firms and advertise.

          A group of people are making decisions instead of just one person about a range of

          products and services.

           Whenever a customer clicks the mouse button they are tracking your behavior.

Sam on the Fruit Loops Box.
I like the picture because it is unique or different.

"What's the Big Deal About RSS?"

RSS (Really Simple Syndication)  feeds is a family webfeed formats that publishes and updates
works such as bog entries, news headlines, audio and video in standard format.
The RSS document "feed" web feed or channel includes full or summarized text, and meta data
which is publish dates and authorship
Web feeds benefit publishers letting them syndicate content automatically.
RSS feeds can be read using software RSS "reader", "feed reader" or aggregator web-based,
desk-top based, or mobile based.
The standard XML file format allows information published once reviewed by many subscribed
feeds regularly for new work, view many different programs. User subscribes to a feed URI or
by clicking RSS icon in web browser.
RSS reader checks user subscribe regularly.
RSS can be used in business as an easy way to distribute headlines, update notices and content
and have communications with a wide number of people.
RSS solves problem of communication because most people are interested in many websites,
and changes occur on unpredicatable schedules.
Some examples of web sites are new sites, community, religious information pages, product
information pages, medical websites, and blogs.
The notifications of changes are made to multiple websites are handled easily.
RSS works by having the web site author maintain a list of notifications.
The RSS "feed" list of notifications uses RSS aggregators which is a special
computer program that automatically access RSS feeds of websites..
RSS provides basic information, list of items includes newest to oldest, a simple title describing
item along with a more complete descripdtion and link to web page.
The RSS aggregator programs automatically checks and keep check on multiple websites.
"RSS" links and "XML" feeds via "Syndicate This" link.
Special XML format file makes RSS feed created in a variet of ways.
Notification arrival of new product in store, list, newsletter issue,  and email newsletter.
This could be used to interact with the customers, update customers and if customers
want to say something this is a way of listening to them.
The RSS file can include logo, site link, and input box, and multiple news items.
Each of new items consists of URL, title, summary.
The Data ,XML is RSS feed include PDA, cell phones, emails, tickler, and voice updates.
The strength of RSS is that it is simple, RSS feeds are web based, several feeds links to
audio files, video files, multimedia.
RSS distributed one item at a time.
I believe the large and small business can use it to cut expenses by having information available
to whatever department needs it. They get a real feel for what is going on.
It can increase business because customers have access. Despite the technology people are
the main driving force. If  the customers don't come in you don't have a business.

A database is a collection of data organized to serve many applications efficiently by centralizing
the data and application. A single database services multiple applications.

Database Management System (DBMS) is software that permits an organization to centralize
data, manage them efficiently, provide access to stored data by using application programs.

The use of the (DBMS)  because the can use relational and Object- Oriented DBMS because it
would improve business, uses data manipulation language (SQL) Structured Query Language.
It is the intergration of the system it is time saving, cost effective, and communication will
be improved.
Everyone is one the same page so to speak.

"What is the digital firm?"

 

         A digital firm is a business that uses technology to help run its business. Businesses are open 24/7 and with the internet access it has changed the way business is conducted. Customers are affected because if something is right or wrong they can have immediate access to the web.

          Businesses can have a impact. They can track purchases, get an actual numbers of customers coming in and getting feedback from the customers. This can impact sales, business decisions, basically technology changing the way business is conducted.

          It is technology computers, mobile phones, wireless computers, and the use of on-line services where there is an interaction between business owners and management by using web based conference calls or phone conference calls. At a touch of a button things can happen.

           Computer can process payments for things that you purchase with a debit or credit card and cash. There are many ways that technology is used today and will be in the future. Think about Digital Television, Google, Facebook. It is connection to people all over the world.

           It effects government, sales, marketing, production, finance and accounting, taxes, human resources, employees, manufacturing and producing goods and selling a business products or services.

          In essence it a combination of management, information technology, and employees,  and customer service team, reaching the customer because you want them to come back.

          It is understanding that the digital firm is a team and we all work together.
          A digital firm is where all the important business relationships customers, and employess.
and suppliers have access digitally through being linked.

My name is Vicki Fletcher and I'm currently enrolled in Business Management classes at Herzing University in Akron, Ohio. I really enjoy attending Herzing University because I'm learning things.  I'm taking this Information Management Course and its helping me to have the confidence within that I can do this. I like that a lot.  I love to learn. It's exciting to me. I have learned to overcome challenges and they have made me a stronger person and a grateful person
Some things I like. My favorite colors are purple and blue. My favorite foods are fried chicken,
collard greens, and home-made macaroni and cheese. I ' m single with no children. I 'm
a freshman at Herzing University and a place I would like to go for a vacation is the Bahamas.
If my mother had to describe me it faithful, trustful, and a prayer warrior.
I'm currently not employed.
